She was predeceased by: her parents, Ramón Álvarez and Margarita Acosta; her husband Manuel Vélez; her daughter Katherine Vélez; and her brother Alberto Álvarez.
She is survived by: her children, Manuel Vélez and Michelle Sáenz (Danny); and her grandson Alejandro Duque. She is also survived by one of ten children and is survived by her eight siblings.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Philomena Catholic Church (4580 SW 65th Ave, Davie, FL 33314). A Mass was held on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint Philomena Catholic Church (4580 SW 65th Ave, Davie, FL 33314). A burial was held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (1500 S State Rd 7, North Lauderdale, FL 33068).
