He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Machado of Andrade Quilula and Maria Jose Machado; and his siblings, Helena, Hilma and Fernando.
He is survived by: his wife Eda Maria Barbosa Duarte; his children, Adriana and Rodrigo; and his grandchildren, Victor, Isabella, Gustavo and Leonardo.
