It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald E. Hyder of Daytona Beach, Florida, who passed away on July 10, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Donald E. may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Donald E. touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest R Hyder and Jerleen Hyder (Davis); and his brother Tom Hyder (Carrie). He is survived by: his children, Jeremy Hyder (Kristina) of Hornbeck, LA, Melissa McGlothlin (Clyde) of Holmsville, OH, Jessica Walters of Ravenna, OH and Sarah Sparks (Brian) of Jeromesville, OH; and his sisters, Carol Weber of Massillon, OH, Barbara Bruce (John) of Shreve, OH, Debra Graham of Massillon, OH, Cindy Becker (Todd) of Shreve, OH and Brenda Carey (late George) of Orrville, OH.. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Fairview Cemetery (6060 Newkirk Rd, Shreve, OH 44676).
