He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Meconitas and Julia Mahellick; his wife Elva; his children, Susan (Joshua Macbeth) and David (Ivette Meconitas); his grandchildren, Scott, Paige, Brendan, Samantha and Thomas; and his great grandchildren, Knox and Caroline.
