She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Fisher Ballard (Bernice Rae Maxwell Ballard) and N. C.. She is survived by: her husband Bruce Flippin; her sisters, Joyce Gilmore and Jane Rushing; and her children, Alan Keith Flippin (Lisa) and Lori Ann Flippin Laughter (Bob). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and 13 great grand-children.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the South China Grove Baptist Church (501 Haney St, China Grove, NC 28023). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the West Lawn Memorial Park (1350 S Main St, China Grove, NC 28023). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Debary, Florida (32 S Shell Rd, DeBary, FL 32713).
