She was predeceased by: her parents, Opal Virginia Floyd (Shue) and John Rush Floyd; and her siblings, Charles Floyd, Pauletta Smirnoff, Deloris Ann Gasser, BettyJo Matherly, Lt. Colonel Hansford Floyd (Skip), Elizabeth Floyd and Bessie Lenora Floyd.
She is survived by: her husband Richard, Sr.; her son Richard, Jr.; her daughter-in-law Christine; and her granddaughter Austyn.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home (200 W Copans Rd, Pompano Beach, FL 33064). A Mass will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 1:15 PM to 1:35 PM at the South Florida National Cemetery (6501 FL-7, Wellington, FL 33449).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
