She was predeceased by: her parents, Ismael Eugene Sr. and Adelemonde Louis; and her sisters, Emeline Eugene Perrin and Junie Eugene Pierre. She is survived by: her son Claude Bernard Seide; her siblings, Reynold Eugene Sr., Onide Jasmine, Gilberte Gazemar, Bertrand Eugene and Ismael Eugene Jr.; and her niece Marie George "Mageot". She is also survived by family tree of nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.

After a Parkinson's diagnosis in 2022, Marie was cared for greatly by her son, Claude, and her niece, Marie George "Mageot".
