It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sonia Chusid of Deerfield Beach, Florida, who passed away on April 26, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sonia Chusid to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Inocencio Santiago and Alejandrina Quinones; her son Raymond Martinez; her granddaughter Madison Martinez; her siblings, Evelyn Melendez and Raymond Santiago; and her sister-in-law Edwina Santiago.

She is survived by : her children, Angel, Evelyn Acevedo, Edward Martinez, Cindy Figueroa and Vanessa Harris; her daughter-in-law Tracy Martinez (Courtney Martinez); her sister Dolores Santiago; her grandchildren, Danny, Maylidy, Kevin Acevedo, Joshua, Zachary Martinez, Leighton, Cydney, Gabriel Martinez, Iliana Figueroa Coey, Angela Freeman, Felicia McQueen, Dennis, Veronica and Lorianna Figueroa; and her great grandchildren, Laylani, Knoelle, Zoey Acevedo, Ariana, Elijah Figueroa, Jayden Coey, Alyssa, Analise, Mateo, Sterling Freeman and Sophia Harris.

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home (200 W Copans Rd, Pompano Beach, FL 33064). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location.
