With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charleen Nelson Crew of Defuniak Springs, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 5, 2025 at the age of 69. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dalton Nelson and Ila Nelson; her son Michael Spence; her granddaughter McKenzie Ann Clark Spence; and her siblings, Ronnie Nelson, Mottie Nelson, Roger Nelson and Hattie Curry.
She is survived by: her sons, Tommy Spence, Reggie Spence, Ricky Spence (Natasha) and Cody Crew; her grandchildren, Addison Spence, Lyla Spence, Cindy Crew, Dalton Crew, Rickie Dell Spence, River Crew, Emmanuel Spence, Jeremy Lane Spence, Alania Spence, Jadah Heckingar and Trenton Heckinger (John Crew); Russ Martin.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Clary-Glenn Funeral Home (230 Park Ave, Defuniak Springs, FL 32435). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
