He was predeceased by: his parents, Franjo Marcan and Reza Vrlec Marcan; and his brother Antun Marcan. He is survived by: his children, Drazen Pal and Amy McCormick (Paul); his grandchildren, Zoey, Brandon, Riley, Tori and Charli Jo; his niece Jasenka Zovko (Andrew Spolyar); and his pets, Cigan, Lobo and Garich.
His contributions to veterinary medicine and wildlife preservation endure as a testament to his lifelong commitment to making the world a better place for both people and animals.
