Judith Elizabeth Russell Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Judith Elizabeth Russell (Defuniak Springs, Florida), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 1, 2025 at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward George McNamara and Mary Elinor Doherty; her husband Gerald "Jerry" Russell; her sons, Erich Vaughn and John Vaughn; her grandson Erich Vaughn; and her brother Dick McNamara.
She is survived by: her sons, Douglas Vaughn (Sherry), Keith Vaughn (Lori) and Terry Vaughn; her grandchildren, Christy Mooney (Calvin), Stephanie Hayslip (Jordan), Aaron Vaughn, Brent Rademaker (Stacy), Michael Vaughn (Lindsey Minter), Sarah Vaughn, Justin Vaughn, Christopher Vaughn, Alicia Vaughn, CJ Vaughn (Ashley), DJ Russell, Tyler Russell, Rachel Russell and Tiffany Vaughn; and her friends, Kim Tyree, Troy Tyree and Mardi Vaughn. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Davis-Watkins Funeral Home (1474 FL-83, Defuniak Springs, FL 32433).
