It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Ezra Rogers Sr. of Defuniak Springs, Florida, who passed away on July 28, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Thadeus Rogers and Laura Weekly Rogers; his wife Elizabeth Viola Rogers; and his brother Junior Rogers. He is survived by: his sons, James M. Rogers (TJ) and Roy Rogers (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Ryan Rogers, William Hurley, Kalie Owens and Jessica Owens; his great grandchildren, Kayden Watson, Maddie Watson, Hazel Ortwein and Lucy Ortwein; and his siblings, David Rogers, Larry Rogers (Debbie), Pearl Lorenz and Sharon Rogers.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel (230 Park Ave, Defuniak Springs, FL 32435). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
