It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Wendell Curry of Deland, Florida, born in Willacoochee, Georgia, who passed away on April 20, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Curry and Anne Stroble Curry; and his wife Emma Claudine Livingston. He is survived by: his children, Kay "Cookie" Curry of DeLand, Charles Curry, Jr. of DeLand, Lewis and Judy Curry of DeLand; his stepdaughter Laura Kay Hogg of Hawthorn; and his brother Robert Curry. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Judes Children Hospital in his name.
