He was predeceased by: his parents, John Donald Purcell and Helen Marie Purcell (Griffin). He is survived by: his wife Norma Purcell (Brackman); his children, Christopher and Julie; his siblings, Stephen, Sean and Joyce; and his grandchildren, Ava, Emma, Lindsay, William, Benjamin and Charlotte.
A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Peter Catholic Church (359 New York Ave W, DeLand, FL 32720).
