He was predeceased by: his parents, Edker Lovette and Gladys Lovette; and his wife Shelby Lovette. He is survived by: his children, Fred Lovette Jr. (Kellye) of Georgia, Frances Adams (Jerry) of Florida, Patsy Dorph (Bruce) of Florida and Debbie Newell (Paul) of Florida; his grandchildren, Lindsey Sneed (Jake), Fred Lovette III (Kyia), Lesley Swaim (Josh), Theresa Wallace (Cody), Stacey Guffey (Blake), Jennifer Kennerson (Bruce), Ross Dorph (Brittney), Katie Paquette and Kristen Paquette; and his sister Linda Pittman.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Lankford Funeral Home (220 E New York Ave, DeLand, FL 32724).
