It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gladys D. Browne (Deland, Florida), who passed away on August 30, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Wilhelmina Candler Dixon and Walter Dixon; her brothers, Walter "Zundy" Dixon and Alonzo Dixon; her children, Joycelyn Witts (Los Angeles), Emerson Brown (Johnny Brown), Willirene Smith (DeLand), Anna Andrews (Los Angeles), Michael Smith (DeLand), Lana Smith (Los Angeles) and Maurice "Cat" Brown; her sister Dorothy Lewis; and her grandchildren, Joycelyn, Ingga, Cyrelle, Cyntrea, Shyrelle, Shavonna, Shequita, Nisheka, Ingrid, Bianca, Tiffany, Bertrum, Emerson, Elliott and Justin. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews and sorrowing friends.
