We bid farewell to James Edward Lilly of Deland, Florida, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 15, 2025 at the age of 68. James Edward touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though James Edward may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James Edward touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Ann Quaid and Alfred Edward Lilly; his brother Thomas Allen Cloer; and his daughter Brandi Lee Ellis. He is survived by: his siblings, Charles Lewis Cloer Jr., Timothy Lane Cloer and Thelma Kay Lee; and his daughters, Katrina Dawn Lilly and Jamie Desiree Lilly (Nitra Brown). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, 13 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.
