She was predeceased by: her parents, Jimmy Peterson and Oletha Paige; and her husband Walter R. Yates. She is survived by: her daughters, Demeteria Peterson Patterson of Lakeland and Juanique Yates of Daytona Beach, Florida; her grandchildren, Kirsten Patterson and Anthony Sheldon, Jr.; her siblings, Vincent Barron (Maryann) of Daytona Beach, FL and Thelma Johnson (Jonnie) of Daytona Beach, FL; and her close friends, Johnnie, Cora George and Colete Sheppard Slater. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and other grieving family and friends.
