He was predeceased by: his father Fred Cheney; and his sister Evelyn "Lynn" Viers (Jimmy). He is survived by: his wife Amy Cheney; his mother Patricia Cheney; and his siblings, David Cheney (Margie), Jan Tipton (Chris) and Jack Cheney (Lucy). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
