With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John A. Ponder of Deland, Florida, who passed away on March 21, 2024 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though John may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley Ponder and Kenneth Ponder. He is survived by: his children, Jonathon Ponder, Jeffery Ponder and Caylin Ponder; and his brother David Ponder. He is also survived by numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
