He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Stenborg and Eleanor Howlett Stenborg; and his brothers, Paul, Perry, Preston and Patton.
He is survived by: his children, Peter Stenborg II (Diane) and Lori Borror (Courtney); his grandchildren, Peter (Ericka) and Lindsey; his great grandchildren, Annaliese, Peter IV and Addalee; his sisters, Pennie Szykula (Bill), Pamela Stenborg (Barry), Patti Heidtman (Billy), Peggy Romer, Paula Lahti (Matthew) and Polly Gagern (Martin); his wife Martha Waters; his stepchildren, Wallace Baily (LeeAnn) and Anna Peele (Loren); his grandchildren, Macy, Sienna, Taylor and Corinna; his great grandchildren, Olivia and Xander; Gail M. Stenborg.
