He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elaine Jones Mayfield and Claude Smith; his grandparents, Lula and Charlie Jones; his wife Diani Norwood Jones; his stepson Willie "Nay" Norwood (Shantal Holmes-Norwood) of Orlando, Florida; his stepgrandsons, Alexander Holmes of Henry, Kemp IV and Jaylen Holmes; his siblings-in-law, Tyrone Norwood (Pansy Norwood), Wayne Norwood (Angie), Benjamin Jones, Debra Jones, Delphine Alexander, Lynette Thompson and Johnette Leonard (Daelwyne Leonard); his aunts, Patsy Donaldson of Temple Hills and Maxine Ross of Daytona Beach, Florida; his uncle Charlie Jones Jr. (Ike) of Newburgh; and his friend Brother Arnold. He was also cherished by loving cousins, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Lankford Funeral Home & Crematory (220 E New York Ave, DeLand, FL 32724). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
