It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sherry Lee Newcomb of Deland, Florida, born in Erie, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 12, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Peter Newcomb, Sr.; her son Christopher Newcomb; and her parent Marion Tome of Oviedo, Florida. She is survived by: her son Peter Newcomb of Flowery Branch, Georgia; her sister Diane; her brother-in-law Jim Dishinger of Oviedo; her brother Robert Tome of Daytona, Florida; her daughter-in-law Meig Walz Newcomb of Madison, Connecticut.; and her grandchildren, Lucas Newcomb, Loretta Newcomb of Madison, Connecticut, William Newcomb (Peyton) and Taylor Newcomb of Flowery Branch, Georgia.. She is also survived by her family especially her four beloved grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Oviedo Presbyterian Church (2405 Lockwood Blvd, Oviedo, FL 32765).
