She was predeceased by: her parents, Catherine V. Schalk (O'Leary) and Charles L. Schalk. She is survived by: her sisters, Barbara Barry (Robert) of Olney, MD and Rosemary Schalk of Delray Beach, FL; and her niece Barbara Barry of Washington, DC..
