She was predeceased by: her parents, Rose Stal and Morris Stal. She is survived by: her husband Donald Heiman; her children, Jessica Freilich (Jonathan), Lauren Heiman (Beau Hirshfield) and Joshua Heiman (Erica); her grandchildren, Alexandra, Isabelle, Olivia, Ava, Noa and Miles; and her brothers, Aaron and Samuel Stal.

Donations in her memory can be made to Yad Vashem or the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.
