He was predeceased by : his father Homan Saylor; his former wife Charmaine Sames Saylor; his siblings, Kenneth, Lynn Brumleve and Barbara Sammons; and his son-in-law John P Francis.

He is survived by : his wife Silvana Mandelli; his children, Scott (Robyn), Charmaine Francis, Barry (Lisa) and Michael (Leigh Ann); and his sister Teddye Noel. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
