He was predeceased by : his wife Joyce. He is survived by : his children, Michael Scher (Madeleine) and Jill Kaufman (Michael); his grandchildren, Jeremy, Sarah, Rebecca and Samantha Heise (Andrew); and his great grandchildren, Emma, Hannah and Rowan.
