She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Schart and Adelaide Schart; her husband Bob; her son Michael; and her sisters, June, Diana, Denise and LeeAnn.

She is survived by: her children, Robert (Deborah) and Cheryl (Robert); her brothers, Bill (Jeanette) and Ron (Jane); and her grandchildren, Matthew, Nicole, Meghan, Bobby, Shelby and Avery.
