Words of sympathy

October 2, 2023

Andrew Hester wrote a sympathy message

“Rita was a good friend and a joy to work with. Honest, caring, smart, hard-working, and with a clever wit and healthy sense of irony, Rita frequently brought to light the humorous side of difficult and stressful situations, and somehow made them fun. For several years when I was younger, I worked closely with her every day, and I remember confiding in her and receiving empathic, helpful & sage advice on many matters of life during countless conversations.
