It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carmen Cortes of Deltona, Florida, who passed away on October 13, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Carmen departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Carmen. Though Carmen may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan F. Cortes and Carmen Soto Cortes. She is survived by: her daughter Yvonne Suarez of Sanford, FL.; and her siblings, Sonia Riviezzo of Southbury, CT. and Wilson Cortes of Brooklyn, NY. She is also survived by three grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren. a long with host of other relative and friend.
