It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evette Melecio of Deltona, Florida, born in Meriden, Connecticut, who passed away on June 2, 2022, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Tomas Melecio; her brother Tomas Melecio, Jr.; and her son Franklin A. Melecio. She is survived by: her mother Avelina Melecio; her siblings, Edwin R. Melecio, Yolanda Melecio and Nixa Hicks; and her son-in-law Larry E. Hicks, Sr.. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
