He is survived by: his wife Anita Smiley; his children, Sondra Lovett (Nic), Natasha Smiley (Shane), Chanelle Taylor (Gerald) and Lawrence Smiley Jr. (JoElly); his grandchildren, Samia, Samuel, Samarion, Sacori, Sauiour Green, Alana Stephens and Ferris Lovett; and his siblings, Gene Smiley, Carnet Smiley, Vernice Swint and Opelia Johnson.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations honor of Lawrence's memory to a charity of your choice that supports families in need or outdoor recreation programs, reflecting the passions that brought him joy.
