He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyrus Detterline and Loretta Detterline (Born); his wife Lois; and his siblings, Ralph, David, Harold and Mae.
He is survived by: his children, Paul Detterline (Diane) of San Antonio, TX, Tim Detterline (Joyce) of New Palestine, IN and Cheryl Argeroudis (Pete) of Deltona, FL.; his grandchildren, Melissa Merrill (Clint), Sarah Steen (Joshua), Megan Burakiewicz (Andy), Eric Detterline (Kelsey), Beth Sneegas (Aaron) and Tracy Alfonso (Jose); his great grandchildren, Shae, Ava, Cooper, Gavin, Brie, Eve, Noah, Samuel, Elijah, Marlee, Milo, Stella, Crosby, Vivian, Lilian, Arianna and Christian; and his sisters, Peg and Vera.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel (600 W Old Ridge Rd, Hobart, IN 46342). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts are preferred to the Lutheran Church of Providence, 1696 Providence Blvd, Deltona, FL 32725.
