He was predeceased by: his parents, Amasa Pierce and Edna Pierce; and his wife Nancy Kennedy. He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Phenicie (Darrell), Deborah Clouser (Steve), Elin Bubna (Joel), John (Kim) and Mark (Kathleen). He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; and fifteen great grandchildren.
