He was predeceased by: his father Willie Hillsman. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Hillsman; his children, Rodney Hillsman, Frederick Hillsman (Margo), Michael Dillion (Patrice), James Smith (Benita), Eric Jackson (Candace), Ken Williams (James), Rene James (Derreck), Melondy Hillsman and Rev. Vicki Williams; and his sisters, Rosa Lee McCoy, Annie Ruth Stephenson and Roberta A Trammell.
