She was predeceased by: her son David Ginger of Los Angeles, CA; and her husband Dr. Sam Traughber of Destin. She is survived by: her children, Ron Ginger (Sherry) of Crestview, FL and Shelly Hartsell of Destin; her stepdaughter Sammy Traughber King of Atlanta; her grandchildren, Derek Ginger (Elizabeth) of Missouri, Jesse Hicks (Hannah) of Atlanta and Clay Lemons of Virgina; and her pets, Rusty, Chloe and Jack.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Destin Methodist Church (200 Beach Dr, Destin, FL 32541). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ASPCA or Destin First Methodist Church.
