It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Homer Granius of Destin, Florida, who passed away on March 5, 2026, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Desire Granius and Verna Malcore Granius; his son-in-law Rick Salm; and his siblings-in-law, Llewellyn Gigot, Jack Chaudoir, Judy Granius and Marilyn Watzka (Jerry).
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Ledvina; his daughters, Mary Granius Salm and Paula Smits (John Smits); his grandson Michael Smits (Megan Hein); his great grandchildren, Luca and Macie; his grandchildren, Matthew Smits (Megan Millot Smits) and Erica Salm Rensch (Tyler); his great grandchildren, Ricky, Brighton and Lincoln; his siblings, Roland Granius (Leland) of Panama City, FL, Christine Chaudoir of Brussels, WI and Jeanne Gigot Bushner of Casco; Caeden, Kennadee and Kaysynn.
