It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Katherine Eggers Driggers of Destin, Florida, born in Augusta, Georgia, who passed away on May 13, 2026, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As Katherine departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Katherine. Though Katherine may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie James Eggers and Jamie Sue Fuller Eggers; and her sisters, Jessica Harris and Angela Walton. She is survived by: her husband Art Driggers; her sister Donna Nichols; and her nieces and nephews, Max, Stuart, Maury Nichols and James Harris (Maria Flores-Harris).
A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 1st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the St Simon's Episcopal Church (28 Miracle Strip Pkwy SW, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548).
