He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Gene and Marilyn Clark of Lambertville, NJ; and his great-grandparents, Phil and Dan Yannarella of Lambertville. He is survived by: his parents, Rebecca Clark (Becky) of Dunedin, FL and Rick Melendez of Elyria, Ohio; his brothers, Ricky, TJ Melendez, Madison MacEachern of St. Petersburg and Eli Bruno Rojas of Massachusetts; his stepmother Missy Melendez; his uncle Gene Clark of Lambertville; his cousins, Melissa, Brian Stuart of Winter Garden, Jodi and Matt Kupersmith of New Canaan, Connecticut; his furry loves, Zeke, Marri, Brutus, Nova, Olly, Marty, Bruno and Baxter; his grandparents, Patricia Fleck Stanford, Jimmy of Lorain, Gilbert and Lori Melendez of Orlando; his aunt Deanna Melendez of Orlando, Florida.; Jordan, Grantt, Rylee and Ava. He is also survived by many extended family members and countless friends.
Through the donation of his heart, lungs, kidneys, liver, and corneas, Alex became a hero to families who now have more time with the people they love.
