He was predeceased by: his parents, John Shimko (Rose Marie Soss) and Wilma Toth Shimko; his wife Judith Shimko (Wakelee); his siblings, Steve Shimko (Joyce), John Shimko (Jean) and Helen Zurbola (Gus); his daughter Sandra Shimko; and his siblings-in-law, Virginia and Michael Marikis.
He is survived by: his sister Rosemarie Davidson (Chevy); and his children, Dr David Shimko (Deborah), Connie Ballard, Carla Colo (Michael) and Laurel Goeke (Doug). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 6 (soon 7) great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in memory of Charles to Suncoast Hospice.
