He was predeceased by: his parents, Florance Thompson and David Thompson; and his sister Sue Polin. He is survived by: his pets, Zoe, TuTu, Gunny I, Gunnison, Tava, Bobby Bobcat, Toby and Susie; his wife Claire Saglibene; his daughter Micki Thompson; his son-in-law Don Kiefhaber; his pet Max; his sister-in-law Gail Schott; and his nieces and nephews, Beth, Mark Polin, Rebecca Saglibene and Sam Schott. He is also survived by many other extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Pete's memory to the Ten Lives Club (https://www.tenlivesclub.com) , the Human Society of Tampa Bay, or the Wounded Warriors Abilities Ranch causes that reflect his love of animals and veterans.
