It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edward Steponaitis of Dunedin, Florida, who passed away on November 17, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Maryalyce "Mara" Reichardt Steponaitis; his children, Richard Steponaitis (Janet), Mark Steponaitis (Diane) and Karen Furca (Jay); his grandchildren, Julia, Robert, Jack and Janet; his sister Patricia Brazas; and his sons, Manuel Antonio Rojas Ordoñez and Jay Furca. He is also survived by brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
Among his many achievements, Ed counted his sobriety - achieved in December 2019, just as the world was entering the pandemic - as one of his greatest.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ed's name to the Church of the Good Shepherd.
