We are sad to announce that, on August 14, 2025, at the age of 94, Maria Margaret Benson in Dunedin, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Maria may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Maria touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Lempio and Matilda Lempio (Mattson); her brother Paul S. Lempio; and her daughter Christine Maria Jenkins. She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Conway Benson (Richard Alan Brokaw) of New York, NY and Arvilla "Belle" Jane Catharine (Michael James Hageman) of New Port Richey, FL; her grandchildren, Mary-Margaret Jenkins of Fort Wayne, IN and Elizabeth Marie Jenkins-Bail (Molly Jenkins-Bail) of Columbus, OH; and her great grandchild Adam William Blakey, Jr. of Fort Wayne, IN. She is also survived by many other extended family members, friends.
