He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edward Callanan and Margaret Helen Block. He is survived by: his children, Michael Edward Callanan (Gigiola) and Melinda "Mindy" Callanan; his grandchildren, Connor Skiff, Jarron McGuire and William Callanan; his brother Steve Block; his close friend Janie Egbert; and his friend Elizabeth Garrett. He is also survived by his former wife, mother of his children.
