Gretchen Eileen Dabney, born on June 27, 1936, passed away on August 30, 2026. Gretchen leaves behind family members and others who acknowledge this loss. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Ryan and Vivian Ryan (Wetmore); her husband Robert Dabney; her sons, Jay Foote, Jr. and Douglas Foote; and her siblings, Alvin Appel, Raymond Ryan and Jeannine Rosenboom.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Michael O'Neal, Jr., Cynthia O'Neal and Heather Foote; her great grandchildren, Shawn Michael O'Neal, Hailey O'Neal and Michael Brigante; Theresa and Michael O'Neal. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Florida National Cemetery (6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513).
