For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Addis Delma and Birdie Lou Gilbert (Waldon); his wife Judith Dianne Gilbert (Cooper); and his grandson Jeremy Christian Gilbert. He is survived by: his children, Christopher Mark Gilbert of Castle Pines, CO and Teresa Gilbert Pettit of Houston, TX; and his sisters, Nina June Carroll of Deltona, FL and Bobbie Suelane Pearson of Grand Bay, AL. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren; his five great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Roberts Funeral Home of Dunnellon (19939 E Pennsylvania Ave, Dunnellon, FL 34432). A committal service will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Florida National Cemetery (6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513).
