He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilson Daniel Ryals and Maggie Ryals (Ladner); his wife Virginia Ruth Ryals (Wright); his daughter Linda Ruth Herbert; and his siblings, Charles C. Ryals, Mary Autress Walters and Bennie Joyce Sauls.
He is survived by: his children, John W. Ryals and Constance M. Leggett of Whitefish, MT; and his sisters, Bonnie Jo Durham of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Shirley A. Herrera of Ocala, FL. He is also survived by his 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
