With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lurlie Inez Peacock of Dunnellon, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 16, 2025 at the age of 88. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wesley Brewer and Myrtie Lee Morgan; her husband Richard Malvin Peacock; her daughter Shela Peacock; and her siblings, Eddie, James Raymond (Bo), Jeanette, Carol and Ann.
She is survived by: her children, Becky Mayhew (John) of Quincy, Richard Michael Peacock (Lisa) of Dallas and Tammy Rubino (Carl) of Stuart, FL.; her siblings, Jerry Brewer (Janet) of Dunnellon, FL, Bobby Brewer of Dunnellon, FL and Judy Beier (late Karl) of Folsom, CA; her grandchildren, Jennifer, Dawn, Ashley of Amber, CJ, Christina and Melissa; her great grandchildren, Carter, Luke, Reagan, Austin, Haley, Madison, Gage, Ashton, Willow, Siege, Daisy and Luca; and her great great grandchild Aspen.
Visitation was held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Roberts Funeral Home of Dunnellon (19939 E Pennsylvania Ave, Dunnellon, FL 34432). A memorial service was held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. The inurnment was held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Florida National Cemetery (6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513).
