It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Jane Reid of Dunnellon, Florida, born in Ocala, Florida, who passed away on July 18, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Clayton Reid (Eddie); her parents, Robert D Roof and Hannah Roof; and her brothers, Robert Dale Roof Jr. and Carl G Roof Sr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Paula (Greg Rushton) of Dunnellon and Kara Hewett of Dunnellon; her siblings, Chet Roof (Julie) of Dunnellon and Gwen Roof of Inglis; her grandchildren, Trey Shaw, Sam Shaw, Aubrey Hewett and Sydney Hewett; and her great grandchild Avery.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Roberts Funeral Home of Dunnellon (19939 E Pennsylvania Ave, Dunnellon, FL 34432). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
