With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Muriel Benfield of Dunnellon, Florida, who passed away on October 7, 2025 at the age of 105. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
She was predeceased by: her father Cyril Millington; and her siblings, Ivan, Alice and Estelle. She is survived by: her mother Sarah Garraway; and her children, Pamela, Ronald and Julian. She is also survived by three grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and fifteen nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Roberts Funeral Home of Dunnellon (19939 E Pennsylvania Ave, Dunnellon, FL 34432).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Marion County Rose Society, 310 San Marino Dr. The Villages, FL 32159 or to St. John The Baptist Catholic Church foodbank, 7525 S US Highway 41, Dunnellon, FL 34432.
